Christian Maturity

Lu 2:52 Jesus grew in wisdom and maturity. He gained favor from God and people.

1Co 2:6 However, we do use wisdom to speak to those who are mature. It is a wisdom that doesn’t belong to this world or to the rulers of this world who are in power today and gone tomorrow.

1Co 14:20 Brothers and sisters, don’t think like children. When it comes to evil, be like babies, but think like mature people.

Eph 4:13 This is to continue until all of us are united in our faith and in our knowledge about God’s Son, until we become mature, until we measure up to Christ, who is the standard.

Php 3:15 Whoever has a mature faith should think this way. And if you think differently, God will show you how to think.

Col 1:28 We spread the message about Christ as we instruct and teach everyone with all the wisdom there is. We want to present everyone as mature Christian people.

Col 4:12 Epaphras, a servant of Christ Jesus from your city, greets you. He always prays intensely for you. He prays that you will continue to be mature and completely convinced of everything that God wants.

Heb 5:14 However, solid food is for mature people, whose minds are trained by practice to know the difference between good and evil.

Heb 6:1 With this in mind, we should stop going over the elementary truths about Christ and move on to topics for more mature people. We shouldn’t repeat the basics about turning away from the useless things we did and the basics about faith in God.

Jas 1:4 Endure until your testing is over. Then you will be mature and complete, and you won’t need anything.
